Are your services available for individuals or just for families?
We serve both individuals and families.
How will my privacy be protected?

Firefly Children and Family Alliance takes the privacy of our clients very seriously. Please review our complete privacy policy.

Is Firefly Children and Family Alliance the same as the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS)?
No. Firefly Children and Family Alliance is a private, nonprofit organization. We provide services to individuals and families referred to us by DCS, as well as other organizations.
I know I need help, but I’m afraid to seek services.
We recognize that it’s not always easy to ask for help. We commit to treating you with respect and do our best to earn your trust. We believe all individuals and families have strengths, and no one sets out to fail. We take your rights seriously, including your right to privacy and confidentiality.
Do you take Medicaid or any health insurance plans?
We accept Medicaid and many other health insurance plans. When you call to make an initial appointment, our intake counselor can help determine if your insurance is accepted and whether you would have a co-pay.
What if I can’t afford services?
We believe that everyone deserves access to quality support services and programs. At Firefly Family and Children Alliance, we do our best to make resources affordable for people of all income levels.
Are all services offered at all locations?
No, please call us to learn what programs are provided at each of our offices.
Can I get help through more than one of your programs?
Yes, some individuals and families benefit from more than one of our programs.
Do your therapists prescribe medications?
No, we do not prescribe medications for clients. However, a therapist may make medical referrals for prescription evaluation if and when they think it is necessary.
What are my rights as a client of Firefly Children and Family Alliance?

What if I have a complaint or grievance about my services?

We make every effort to meet our clients’ needs. If you feel that you haven’t received the assistance you require, please follow our grievance procedure to let us know what happened.
