What is outpatient therapy?
Outpatient therapy allows you to live at home and attend scheduled therapy sessions at a clinic or virtually. It is less intrusive than inpatient therapy and supports normal daily routines.
What is the difference between outpatient and inpatient therapy?
Outpatient therapy takes place in a clinic you travel to, or virtually via zoom, while inpatient therapy occurs in a hospital or rehab center where you stay on-site.
What happens during a typical therapy session?

How long is a therapy session?

It is typically covered by Medicaid and most major insurance plans or self pay. Sliding fee scales are offered based on capacity.

Yes. One of the biggest advantages is being able to work, attend school, and maintain family routines.
Can my therapist prescribe medication?
Generally, no—most mental health therapists cannot prescribe medication. Physicians, psychiatrists, or nurse practitioners manage medications.
