Il existe de tr\u00e8s nombreuses raisons de dire oui\u2026 et pour certains d\u2019entre vous, \u00ab oui \u00bb sera toujours la r\u00e9ponse, car vous en avez la capacit\u00e9 (\u00e9motionnellement et physiquement) de le faire.<\/p>\n<p>Mais parfois, il faut dire \u00ab non \u00bb. Afin de prendre une sage d\u00e9cision, et surtout si vous avez un type de personnalit\u00e9 comme le mien, vous devez avoir des limites claires quant au type de placement que vous \u00eates pr\u00eat et capable d&#039;accepter.<\/p>\n<p>Comme je l&#039;ai mentionn\u00e9 ci-dessus, certaines personnes sont grandes ouvertes et sont dispos\u00e9es et capables d&#039;accepter pratiquement n&#039;importe quel type de placement\u2026 et je dis : \u00ab Que Dieu les b\u00e9nisse ! C&#039;est tout simplement incroyable !<\/p>\n<p>Mais je crois que la majorit\u00e9 d&#039;entre nous ont des capacit\u00e9s approfondies et doivent mettre en place des limites\u2026 \u00e0 la fois pour nous-m\u00eames et pour l&#039;agence.<\/p>\n<p>Par exemple, si vous avez d\u00e9fini des param\u00e8tres indiquant\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 enfants maximum<\/li>\n<li>Gar\u00e7ons seulement<\/li>\n<li>5-12 ans seulement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mais vous recevez un appel avec un placement d&#039;urgence d&#039;un gar\u00e7on et de 2 filles, tous \u00e2g\u00e9s de moins de 4 ans\u2026 NE PRENEZ PAS DE PLACEMENT\u00a0! (C&#039;est mon exp\u00e9rience qui entre en jeu ici\u2026 Je connais ce dont je parle !)<\/p>\n<p>Maintenant, le Bureau de l&#039;enfance ne vous appellerait probablement pas pour une telle demande, mais une autre agence pourrait vous demander d&#039;envisager de prendre un placement en dehors de vos sp\u00e9cifications.<\/p>\n<p>Il est tout \u00e0 fait normal que vous disiez \u00ab\u00a0non\u00a0\u00bb, car vous savez ce que vous pouvez g\u00e9rer, vous savez ce que vous \u00eates cens\u00e9 accommoder, et la derni\u00e8re chose que vous, votre agence ET les enfants eux-m\u00eames souhaitez, c&#039;est une perturbation. (voir <u>mon message<\/u> sur ce m\u00eame sujet). Si vous effectuez un placement au-del\u00e0 de ce que vous pouvez supporter, cela entra\u00eenera presque certainement des perturbations.<\/p>\n<p>Maintenant, il est toujours possible que l\u2019appel de placement \u00ab parfait \u00bb soit re\u00e7u, mais que le timing soit totalement erron\u00e9. Peut-\u00eatre que vous vous pr\u00e9parez \u00e0 partir en vacances\u00a0; de toute \u00e9vidence, ce n\u2019est pas le moment id\u00e9al pour effectuer un stage. Un enfant aura besoin de temps pour s\u2019installer et le placer dans un centre de r\u00e9pit pendant vos vacances ne facilitera pas le processus d\u2019installation. Ce n\u2019est pas non plus tout \u00e0 fait juste, ni id\u00e9al.<\/p>\n<p>Peut-\u00eatre qu&#039;un membre de la famille est malade, qu&#039;un proche vient de d\u00e9c\u00e9der ou que la vie est tout simplement folle avec les enfants d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans votre maison. Ou peut-\u00eatre que vous venez de retrouver un stage et que vous avez besoin de prendre du recul une minute pour reprendre votre souffle. Pour toutes ces raisons, et bien d\u2019autres encore, il est normal de dire \u00ab non \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Cela ne veut pas dire que votre agence ne vous rappellera plus. Je vous assure qu&#039;ils le feront. Cela ne veut pas dire qu&#039;ils pensent que vous \u00eates difficile ou fou ou que c&#039;est une perte de temps pour tout le monde (je dis toutes ces choses, parce que j&#039;ai longtemps eu peur que nous soyons per\u00e7us de cette fa\u00e7on\u2026 ce qui, en fin de compte\u2026 n&#039;\u00e9tait pas le cas. vrai). Ils appr\u00e9cient vous et votre place dans ce monde de placement familial.
