\u201c<\/span>M<\/span>plus de trois ans avant<\/span> Sion<\/span> C<\/span>Christophe<\/span> est n\u00e9, j'ai fait un r\u00eave r\u00e9current que quelqu'un nous confierait son petit gar\u00e7on, <\/span>S<\/span>Halonda<\/span>, un<\/span>un parent adoptif avec<\/span> Luciole<\/span> dit<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

S<\/span>Halonda<\/span> et J<\/span>un<\/span>mes<\/span> sont mari\u00e9s depuis 25 ans et <\/span>ont \u00e9lev\u00e9 6 enfants<\/span> ensemble<\/span>.<\/span> Quatre d'entre eux<\/span>ose<\/span> enfants <\/span>\u00eatre<\/span> biologique, et leurs deux plus jeunes <\/span>adh\u00e9sion<\/span> la famille par le biais de soins de parent\u00e9.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Soins de parent\u00e9 <\/span><\/b>Il s'agit de placer un enfant chez un parent, comme un grand-parent, une tante, un oncle ou un autre membre de la famille, lorsque les parents biologiques de l'enfant ne sont pas en mesure de lui fournir des soins appropri\u00e9s.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Alors qu'ils c\u00e9l\u00e8brent leur <\/span>jalon<\/span> anniversaire cette ann\u00e9e, le couple revient sur les cinq derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es et sur le chemin qu'ils ont parcouru pour adopter officiellement leurs enfants,<\/span> Sion<\/span> Christophe<\/span> et Desi<\/span>rae.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Quand ils <\/span>d'abord <\/span>re\u00e7u un appel du D\u00e9partement des services \u00e0 l'enfance (DCS), ils <\/span>rapidement <\/span>convenu de garantir <\/span>les fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs <\/span>w<\/span>resteraient ensemble. Pour <\/span>S<\/span>Halonda<\/span>, cela ressemblait \u00e0 un pas vers la r\u00e9alisation de ses premiers r\u00eaves, malgr\u00e9 la compr\u00e9hension des diff\u00e9rents d\u00e9fis \u00e0 venir<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Naviguer dans les soins familiaux, l\u2019adoption et le placement en famille d\u2019accueil n\u2019est certainement pas pour les \u00e2mes sensibles<\/span>,<\/span>\u201c<\/span> dit-elle.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 ces difficult\u00e9s, la famille reconna\u00eet que leurs enfants auraient pu faire face \u00e0 un avenir bien diff\u00e9rent et plus incertain. <\/span>sans intervention ext\u00e9rieure<\/span> comme ma<\/span><\/span>Les membres de ma famille \u00e9taient <\/span>fr\u00e9quemment<\/span> impliqu\u00e9 dans le syst\u00e8me p\u00e9nitentiaire et lutt\u00e9 contre la toxicomanie.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ils ont ressenti l\u2019importance de briser ce cycle dans leur famille.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le processus a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 des efforts constants et de la pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance, mais Shalonda et James ont not\u00e9 que leurs enfants plus \u00e2g\u00e9s avaient fait preuve de maturit\u00e9 et de sens des responsabilit\u00e9s, offrant soutien et encouragement tout au long du parcours.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Vous savez, quand nous avons pens\u00e9 \u00e0 jeter l\u2019\u00e9ponge avec les enfants, nos enfants plus \u00e2g\u00e9s ont vraiment pris le relais, car ils se sont \u00e9galement attach\u00e9s \u00e0 eux \u00bb, a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Leurs enfants biologiques, qui ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des liens forts avec leurs fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs apparent\u00e9s et se sont bien adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 la nouvelle dynamique familiale.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00ab La r\u00e9silience de notre famille vient du fait que nous restons ensemble : la foi, le soutien de la communaut\u00e9 et une \u00e9quipe d\u00e9vou\u00e9e ont rendu ce placement en famille d\u2019accueil possible \u00bb, a soulign\u00e9 Shalonda.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pendant leurs temps libres, cette famille aime se d\u00e9tendre, regarder des films et en discuter ensemble. Ces moments simples contribuent \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des liens. Ils visitent le mus\u00e9e pour enfants, jouent au bowling, passent du temps en famille et vont \u00e0 l'\u00e9glise ensemble, savourant ainsi tous ces moments pr\u00e9cieux.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
