Et au-del\u00e0 de cela, il existe d\u2019autres moyens par lesquels l\u2019\u00e9cole et les enseignants peuvent soutenir les enfants pris en charge, ainsi que leurs parents biologiques et d\u2019accueil.<\/p>\n<p>Et avant de les \u00e9num\u00e9rer, laissez-moi vous dire ceci : je sais qu&#039;il peut \u00eatre difficile pour vous, en tant que famille d&#039;accueil, d&#039;aborder tout cela avec l&#039;\u00e9cole, mais vous pouvez peut-\u00eatre d\u00e9cider quels sont les deux ou trois \u00e9l\u00e9ments qui seraient les plus efficaces et b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques pour votre enfant et les porter \u00e0 l&#039;attention de l&#039;\u00e9cole. Ensuite, si tout se passe bien, vous pouvez peut-\u00eatre en mentionner d&#039;autres. Mais ce n&#039;est que mon avis.<\/p>\n<p>Tout cela pour dire : voici quelques r\u00e9flexions que j\u2019ai (et que quelques autres personnes ont contribu\u00e9) sur la mani\u00e8re dont l\u2019\u00e9cole peut aider les enfants pris en charge.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 L\u2019utilisation de mots comme \u00ab adulte \u00bb ou \u00ab adulte \u00bb au lieu de \u00ab parent \u00bb favorise un sentiment d\u2019appartenance pour tous les enfants, pas seulement pour les enfants pris en charge<br \/>\n\u2022 Prise en compte lors de la r\u00e9alisation d&#039;arbres g\u00e9n\u00e9alogiques \/ de photos de b\u00e9b\u00e9 \/ de projets li\u00e9s \u00e0 la famille ou de discussions en classe<br \/>\n\u2022 Aller encore plus loin : permettre \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9tudiant de faire deux cadeaux pour la f\u00eate des m\u00e8res ou la f\u00eate des p\u00e8res, ou des cadeaux de No\u00ebl\/f\u00eates, de sorte qu&#039;il y en ait un pour la famille biologique et un pour la famille d&#039;accueil (s&#039;il le souhaite)<br \/>\n\u2022 Contacter les parents d\u2019accueil \u00e0 l\u2019avance (si possible) lorsqu\u2019il y aura un enseignant rempla\u00e7ant<br \/>\n\u2022 Offrir une intervention relationnelle bas\u00e9e sur la confiance (TBRI) \/ une formation tenant compte des traumatismes \u00e0 l&#039;ensemble du personnel<br \/>\n\u2022 Faire preuve de cl\u00e9mence envers un \u00e9l\u00e8ve qui manque un cours en raison d\u2019une convocation au tribunal, d\u2019une visite parentale, etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Offrir un espace dans la classe (ou quelque part dans l\u2019\u00e9cole) o\u00f9 un enfant peut avoir une pause sensorielle ou un \u00ab espace de calme \u00bb ; cela peut \u00eatre aussi simple qu\u2019une petite tente, une balan\u00e7oire ferm\u00e9e, etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Permettre \u00e0 l\u2019enfant d\u2019aller aux toilettes chaque fois que cela est n\u00e9cessaire<br \/>\n\u2022 Permettre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve de manger une collation ou de boire un verre d\u2019eau chaque fois qu\u2019il en a besoin<br \/>\n\u2022 Proposer des groupes d&#039;amis\/de soutien\/de deuil sur place pour les enfants pris en charge, anim\u00e9s par un ou plusieurs adultes form\u00e9s<br \/>\n\u2022 Faire preuve de gr\u00e2ce envers l\u2019enfant chaque jour ; les enseignants et le personnel doivent faire table rase et ne pas reporter les erreurs ou les probl\u00e8mes de la veille au lendemain.<br \/>\n\u2022 Le directeur et les enseignants doivent comprendre que l\u2019enfant pourrait avoir des difficult\u00e9s d\u00e8s le premier jour, voire apr\u00e8s une \u00ab p\u00e9riode de lune de miel \u00bb. Chaque fois que l\u2019enfant montre des signes de difficult\u00e9s, il est temps d\u2019agir et non d\u2019\u00ab attendre et de voir \u00bb.<br \/>\n\u2022 De plus, il faut agir rapidement sur les PEI et les 504 (ce qui peut souvent prendre beaucoup de temps) afin qu&#039;un enfant re\u00e7oive des am\u00e9nagements et de l&#039;aide imm\u00e9diatement<br \/>\n\u2022 Avoir des horaires visuels pour \u00ab ce qui se passe ensuite \u00bb afin d\u2019\u00e9viter les surprises et s\u2019assurer de discuter de tout changement dans les plans par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019horaire r\u00e9gulier de la journ\u00e9e scolaire<br \/>\n\u2022 Aider les soignants\/parents d\u2019accueil\/parents \u00e0 mettre en place des services de soutien tels que le petit-d\u00e9jeuner et le d\u00e9jeuner gratuits<\/p>\n<p>Comme pour tout ce qui concerne ce blog, il ne s\u2019agit clairement pas d\u2019une liste exhaustive, mais j\u2019esp\u00e8re qu\u2019elle vous donnera un point de d\u00e9part et vous donnera suffisamment de suggestions qui profiteraient \u00e0 votre enfant pour que vous puissiez vous adresser \u00e0 l\u2019administration pour d\u00e9fendre efficacement sa cause.<\/p>\n<p>Sinc\u00e8rement,<\/p>\n<p>Kris<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today\u2019s post piggybacks on the last, as it talks about ways the school can help kids in care (or at least strive to help!).
