Ser padres de crianza no siempre es un camino f\u00e1cil, pero dicho esto, no est\u00e1 exento de mucha alegr\u00eda... alegr\u00eda de ver a los ni\u00f1os sanar (tanto f\u00edsica como emocionalmente); alegr\u00eda al ver a los padres biol\u00f3gicos cambiar sus vidas para que sus hijos puedan volver a casa; y alegr\u00eda al saber que ha hecho todo lo posible para defender a un ni\u00f1o necesitado. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tanta.alegr\u00eda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por favor, sepa que no hay nada particularmente especial en m\u00ed. Mi esposo y yo hemos estado en hogares de acogida desde 2013, y nuestra raz\u00f3n para continuar este camino es ayudar a los ni\u00f1os que necesitan un lugar seguro temporal. Pero esa es nuestra raz\u00f3n... y es probable que esa no sea la raz\u00f3n por la que usted lo est\u00e1 considerando; Hay tantas razones para participar como padres de crianza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Incluso despu\u00e9s de varios a\u00f1os de acogida, de ninguna manera soy un experto; sin embargo, he aprendido un par de cosas sobre el proceso y, en las pr\u00f3ximas semanas, analizaremos juntos muchos de los conceptos err\u00f3neos al respecto. Estos incluyen (pero no se limitan a) los siguientes: qui\u00e9n puede obtener una licencia; que el acogimiento familiar siempre conduce a la adopci\u00f3n; s\u00f3lo los ni\u00f1os malos est\u00e1n en hogares de acogida; etc\u00e9tera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora que hemos establecido que no soy especial ni un experto, les dir\u00e9 lo que soy: alguien que vio el dolor y la impotencia de un ni\u00f1o y supo que nunca podr\u00eda dejar de verlo; Soy alguien que sab\u00eda que ya no pod\u00eda quedarme al margen; Soy alguien que ha estado al lado de otro ser humano mientras superaba su dolor; y soy alguien que quiere acompa\u00f1ar y educar a otras personas que tienen preguntas sobre este tema complicado y transformador. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Espero que me acompa\u00f1en en las pr\u00f3ximas semanas mientras viajamos juntos y exploramos los mitos y malentendidos del cuidado de crianza.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>April 23, 2020 Becoming a foster parent is not a decision to be entered into lightly.
