Se llevar\u00e1n a cabo varias actividades a lo largo del mes para reconocer la importancia de que las comunidades trabajen juntas para ayudar a prevenir el abuso y la negligencia infantil. La prevenci\u00f3n primaria es m\u00e1s efectiva a nivel de la comunidad, y todos juegan un papel vital para mantener a los ni\u00f1os seguros.<\/p>\n<p>Los efectos duraderos del abuso continuo en un ni\u00f1o incluyen retraso en el desarrollo, trastornos alimentarios y dolencias f\u00edsicas. Puede provocar lesiones f\u00edsicas permanentes o la muerte. Los problemas de comportamiento resultantes pueden incluir comportamiento agresivo o criminal, abuso de drogas y alcohol y comportamiento sexual de alto riesgo. Las personas a menudo internalizan y\/o externalizan las reacciones de estr\u00e9s y, como resultado, pueden experimentar depresi\u00f3n, ansiedad o ira significativas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLo m\u00e1s importante que podemos hacer es abogar por las familias brindando apoyo profesional e identificando recursos para promover el bienestar familiar\u201d, explic\u00f3 Tina Cloer, presidenta y directora ejecutiva de Children&#039;s Bureau + Families First.<\/p>\n<p>En 2021, el programa de prevenci\u00f3n de abuso infantil de Children&#039;s Bureau + Families First, Community Partners for Child Safety (CPCS), atendi\u00f3 a 56,280 ni\u00f1os en 27,355 familias en 33 condados del centro de Indiana. CPCS es un programa dise\u00f1ado para empoderar a las familias. Funciona en el nivel de prevenci\u00f3n primaria aumentando el conocimiento de los padres\/tutores y ayudando a identificar los recursos de la comunidad para abordar las necesidades b\u00e1sicas. Se brinda apoyo en el hogar a los padres mientras buscan aprender habilidades de crianza saludables, eliminar el estr\u00e9s que en ocasiones conduce a la negligencia o el abuso y brindarles a los ni\u00f1os la oportunidad de prosperar. El programa est\u00e1 marcando la diferencia: 99% de familias que recibieron servicios de CPCS en 2021 no tuvieron informes de abuso o negligencia durante los 12 meses posteriores al cierre del servicio. Las referencias de clientes se reciben del Departamento de Servicios Infantiles de Indiana, hospitales, escuelas, iglesias y otros sistemas comunitarios.<\/p>\n<p>###<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Acerca de Children&#039;s Bureau + Families First<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Children&#039;s Bureau + Families First es una organizaci\u00f3n privada sin fines de lucro con la misi\u00f3n de empoderar a las personas para construir familias y comunidades m\u00e1s fuertes. Existe para empoderar a las familias con apoyo profesional y recursos comunitarios para eliminar los problemas que conducen a la inestabilidad o al ingreso al sistema de bienestar infantil. Brinda servicios de intervenci\u00f3n para ayudar a las familias que se encuentran en el sistema debido a abuso o negligencia. La agencia recluta y otorga licencias a los padres de crianza, representa a los ni\u00f1os en el sistema de bienestar infantil que esperan ser adoptados, brinda terapia y apoyo posteriores a la adopci\u00f3n y brinda servicios de apoyo a los j\u00f3venes mayores que est\u00e1n fuera del sistema de cuidado de crianza. Adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n se ofrece un tratamiento compasivo a las personas que sufren de trauma, abuso y trastornos por uso de sustancias.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Children&#039;s Bureau y Families First se fusionaron en 2021.\u00a0<\/em><em>La combinaci\u00f3n de nuestros recursos y experiencia nos permite servir mejor a la comunidad al ofrecer un enfoque m\u00e1s hol\u00edstico para la prevenci\u00f3n del abuso infantil, la preservaci\u00f3n de la familia.<\/em><em>, colocaci\u00f3n de j\u00f3venes y servicios de recuperaci\u00f3n.
